The scope of Plan’s activities is far-reaching.

Our work affects the daily lives of countless ordinary people, from the children, the parents and the villages we help, to the supporters who give their contribution.

Our work takes us to 49 developing countries throughout the world.

Plan believes that children have the right to shape their future. A key part of Plan’s work is to provide children and young people with opportunities to participate in decisions and plans which affect them.

Our work influences issues at every level: from a local community's policy on education to the creation of international coalitions:

• on the rights of children affected by HIV/AIDS
• on universal birth registration
